You know when you read a great book... There is a cliffhanger and all of a sudden you want to turn the page. You can't get enough of the story. This is one of those books! I'm so mad at the author!(really not Bella) Believe me the book is better than the first!

Derek, the Prince of Darkness, never thought he would have fallen for one of his slaves. Sofia Claremont has a hold over him. She makes him want to be a better person. When did that all come about? His heart of stone is slowly melting. Sofia gets a glimpse of his humanity. She begins to worry about the people she has left behind. What ever happened to her friend Ben? Derek sees torment on her face as she looks out the window.
He lets her leave the Shade. It becomes his undoing. You don't know what you got until it's gone. The darkness envelopes him; blinding his judgement. His twin sister is worried. Will things go back to the way they were or is the Shade collasping into utter chaos?
